Clubber jailed over door staff bottle attack (North Manchester)
A man has been jailed for threatening nightclub door staff with a broken bottle in Manchester.
Damien Hall (born 30/07/1982) of Walmersley Road, Bury, was jailed for a total of 33 months at Manchester Crown Court Crown Square today, Friday 26 March 2010.

He had pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing an offensive weapon, affray and assaulting a police officer.
At 2.20am on 1 December 2009, door supervisors at nightclub Cruz 101 were called by door staff on nearby New York New York to say a group of people were headed there, who had just been ejected due to their behaviour.
They arrived at the nightclub door a few moments later and were told they could not go in.
Hall immediately became abusive and aggressive towards the door staff.
His behaviour became so threatening that one of the supervisors had to push Hall away from the door.
Hall walked into a car park on Bloom Street and was seen looking around as if he was searching for something.
"Hall now has plenty of time to reflect on his explosive and horribly violent behaviour. Today is proof that we will not accept these kind of actions towards anyone and those behaving like this will get the justice they deserve," Detective Constable Paul Shacklady, based at Grey Mare Lane Police Station.
He went to the back of a pub and picked up two glass bottles, smashed them and returned to the door of Cruz 101 with the glass.
The staff radioed CCTV control and asked them to call police while they tried to detain Hall. He threw one of the broken bottles at one of the doormen.
Police arrived and while he was being arrested, Hall spat in the face of an officer.On arrival in custody, Hall's aggressive behaviour continued and he attacked the same officer, striking him with the handcuffs he'd been put in and getting the officer into a headlock.
